What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, phone, district), listing content you submit (vehicle details, photos, description), and basic technical data (device, browser, approximate location from your IP) used to keep the site working and secure.
Who can see your details
Your listing content is public. Your phone number is shown only to signed-in users who open your listing. Your email address is never published. Your full legal name is used internally for verification and moderation — buyers see the display name you choose on the ad, which can be your first name, a business name, or simply "Seller".
Photos
Photos are resized and re-encoded on your device before upload, which removes embedded camera metadata such as GPS coordinates. You can also blur number plates before uploading. Uploaded photos are stored on our hosting provider and served publicly as part of your listing.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to save your listing draft as you type, plus aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention and deletion
Listings and account data are kept while your account is active. To delete your account and listings, email gearnest.lk@gmail.com from your registered address. Moderation records may be retained where needed to prevent fraud.
