How do I sell my vehicle on Gear Nest?
Start with Sell your vehicle, choose the vehicle category and add its details, photos, price and location. Add your contact number, check the review step and submit your ad. Basic vehicle listings are free. Saving a draft does not submit it for publication.
How do I manage my listing with a phone number and PIN?
Choose a six-digit PIN when setting up access with your phone number. Use the same phone number and PIN to sign in and manage your listings. This is not an OTP or a code sent by SMS. It is a reusable password PIN that you choose and should keep private.
How can I find vehicles within my budget and district?
Search by make or model, such as Toyota Aqua or Suzuki Wagon R, then use the vehicle filters to narrow the results by price, district, year and condition. You can browse brand new, unregistered recon and used vehicles, or switch to vehicles for rent.
Do I need to sign in to contact a vehicle seller?
No. Open a vehicle listing and tap Show phone number, Call or WhatsApp to contact the seller directly. Phone numbers stay hidden until you choose a contact action. Arrange inspections and discuss the price or rental terms with the seller.
Can AI help me fill in my vehicle listing?
Yes. Choose Fill your details with AI in the sell form and upload photos of your vehicle. AI can suggest details and a description, but it can make mistakes. Go through every step, correct anything inaccurate and add missing information before submitting. You can also fill in the form manually.
What should I check before buying a used vehicle in Sri Lanka?
Meet in a public place in daylight and inspect the vehicle and original registration book before paying. Check that the chassis and engine numbers match the book. Do not send an advance, deposit or clearing fee before seeing the vehicle. Gear Nest connects you with the seller; agree payment directly after your checks.
